I am a 89 year old retired teacher and I was seeking treatment to improve circulation, pain relief and swelling caused by infection. What i enjoyed most was the caring and obvious professionalism and knowledge. At first i was fearful of the needles but overall it was not painful in the extreme and the pain levels were reduced as well as an improvement in circulation. My quality of life was improved with more mobility allowed. I have been sleeping better and I get more rest! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this treatment to others! |

As a 68 year old retired nurse i went looking for a treatment that would relieve the hand pain that came after my stroke. This treatment increased my circulation and decreased the pain in my arms as well as my legs. I feel that overall it was good because I do alot more independently that I was not able to do before. I just wish that I would have had this treatment right after my stroke instead of 3 years later. i believe I would have improved better and faster. This treatment was definetly recommended to my friends and I would recommend it to others! |

I am a 57 year old female employed as a nurse in the ICU. I have been experiencing severe neck and shoulder pain and numbness in my arms. Medication and conventional treatment helps but, I do not want to become depended on pain medication. I started having acupuncture treatments that really helped with the pain. My treatment had to be interrupted because of personal reason and now I am able to resume my treatment. I find my session to be relaxing and a great learning experience as well. Patty has a voice that calms you her willingness to teach you is reassuring. The thought of needles being stuck in me was frighting but, Patty made it ok. and each treatment equips you toward recovery. |

I am a 43 year old female, I have fibromyalgia and always in severe pain. The treatments where very pleasant and peaceful I had relief from extreme pain and I left relaxed. I really recommend this treatment, some people think there is no other options than meds and suffering. With these treatments I can cope with my syndrome better than without acupuncture. I am a 28 year old with extreme eczema. I found the treatments very relaxing, informative and it works better than anything the dermatologist or doctors could give me. The overall experience was positive and very successful. I had results through treatment, diet and herbs. Steroids and steroid creams gave me only temporary relief. I recommend this treatment to others, especially as a first resort- try acupuncture before medication or surgery, and give it time! Before my treatments in 2006, my blisters were huge,itchy and painful: I'd been dealing with it for almost a year, even with steroids and steroid creams. I had real improvement with the treatments, herb and diet. I usually only get outbreaks in very dry or humid weather. I have full use of my hands now! I liked the education about foods you should or shouldn't eat; it was a huge contribution to my improvement. I would also like to share a story with you. I never ever had eczema before. It does run in our family- my Dad had to deal with it for seven years. My first break out was when I lived in Japan, after college. I guess it was a combination of relief of stress and extreme weather. At first, I only had the blisters on my hands-it was winter and the weather was really dry. I went to a doctor and was prescribed steroid creams, but was told they would lose their effectiveness after a few months. This was in February of 2005. The blisters didn't stop or go away. By July of 2005, the weather became extremely humid, and I broke out in huge blisters on the soles of my feet! I couldn't walk! I had to be in a wheel chair for 3 weeks! I went to a different doctor - they gave me more creams and steroid pills. These helped a little more, and the blisters on my feet went away, but I still had them on my hands, and the cracking was so painful. I couldn't even wash my own hair. I moved back to California in December of 2005, hoping my skin would improve because the weather doesn't become too dry or too humid. I saw a dermatologist - he really make me angry. I went to this jerk because all the doctors and nurses my sister asked referred her to him. They said he was the best at what he did, and that he was really nice. Well, my first visit with him was actually in April of 2005 - I came home for 3 days just to see this dermatologist. He was nice and prescribed steroid creams. When I came to see him in December, I had broken out again on my feet, but also on my chest, behind my knees, inside my elbows, behind my ears, on my neck, on my wrists and ankles, on my cheeks and between my thighs and I was MISERABLE! Not too mention my entire hands were covered with blisters - my fingernails were even affected by it, they were dented and misshapen. He was very impatient with me. He made me cry. He said "Of course you're breaking out - Everyone is. It's winter and it's dry- what do you expect? You're not the only one. All I can tell you is moisturize and don't use your heater." He gave a list of things to buy, including a humidifier, and sent me away. He basically told me there was nothing I could do.
Then my sister suggested I should try acupuncture. A friend in Japan had a sister who tried acupuncture because her allergies caused her eczema. Patty educated me about foods I shouldn't eat because they caused heat or dampness in the blood, causing inflammation. She explained the reason for each herb I was to consume or to soak in. She explained how the acupuncture treatment would help to release from me the heat and dampness, improve circulation and provide relaxation so I wouldn't stress out. Patty also explained that the treatment took time, that it wasn't going to work overnight. I started seeing Patty for treatment in the end of December in 2005. By March of 2006 I had improved 50%, the blisters were smaller and less frequent. By May of 2006, I had improve 90%. It was amazing.
Over the years. I was able to maintain my skin.... I've never had any breakouts as bad as the ones I had in 2005. I recently returned to Patty for treatment because of the dry winter, but my outbreaks are still minimal. I use Cetaphil lotion, get plenty of rest and exercise, use the diet, herbs and acupuncture. I feel good, life is easy. Thank you, Patty!! |

I am a 65 year old women with arthritis pain, with Patty"s gentle treatments she was able to take away the pain. The overall experience with the treatments were excellent, although I initially came in for pain in my foot, once I had success with that, she worked on other areas that had arthritis pain and she took care of that too. I would highly! recommend treatment to others. Because of Patty's treatments, I can get up and walk without pain in my foot. I can stand up without pain in my hip, I can move my fingers without any pain. Patty is a miracle worker!!! I had gone to western doctors for several years to deal with the arthritis pain in my foot and hip. I was getting a cortisone shot every three months and the pain kept returning. Once I started treatments with Patty the pain disappeared and has not returned. I have been going to Patty for over two years and she continuous to amaze me with what she can do. |
